Tips For Packing A Suitcase
Packing a suitcase is an art and if a person is smart about his packing, then he will do it right. The person will end up with less creased clothes and also save more space and luggage room. Here are some basic tips that you can follow while packing your clothes in a suitcase. |
Tips for Packing a Suitcase:
Always keep the shirts at the bottom, dresses on top of that and the pants the last. Stack the tops unfolded. Keep the wrinkle prone ones at the bottom and the others on the top.
While folding shirts, fold the sleeves in towards the torso and fold them half way from the bottom. This way all shirts will be rectangles and you can stack them up in the suitcase.
Drape long dresses if any in the suit case so that the sides hang over.
Pants or skirts should be folded length wise and packed half way in the middle of the suitcase. Stack the pants and the skirts on top of one another. Again keep the wrinkle prone ones at the bottom and others on the top. Fold the complete stack so that it becomes half in length.
Keep the stack of pants on top of the dresses and fold the ends over the stack.
Keep the socks, ties, t-shirts and jeans rolled.
Pack underwears and other smalls into mesh bag and keep one extra bag for dirty laundry.
Arrange your shoes in such a way that the heel of one touches the tip of the other. Wrap the shoes in plastic bags always before placing them into your suitcase.
