Packing List For Camping With Kids
When you are camping with kids, you need to prepare and make sure you have everything that they would need on the trip. Remember, kids have more needs than adults and so you have to be prepared for those needs. |
The first thing that you would need to pack while camping is a first aid kit. This kit should include bandages, adhesive tapes, gauze pads, antibiotic creams, thermometer, ear buds, antibiotics and Tylenol or Motrin. If the child has some other medications, make sure you put it into the kit. In addition, a camping trip should never be undertaken without insect repellants.
Toiletries that you would need to carry are tissue paper, wet wipes, soaps and shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, napkins, dental floss, sun glasses and detergents. These are basics that you would need. If you have more items, then you can add to the list.
When it comes to clothing, always carry extra set of clothes for the children. Make sure you have full sleeves and pajamas that cover them completely because some times there can be several bugs or the kids may have allergies that you were not aware of. Keep additional night clothes and also carry a sweater no matter how warm it is out doors. If the child falls sick, he or she will need a sweater to keep warm. Also, carry items like scarves, shoes and socks without fail for the children.
Always carry a separate flash light for the children and keep their rain gear handy while camping. You never know when it might start pouring.
Carry enough spoons and forks, packaged water, soft drinks and extra non perishable items like dry fruits and nuts for the children.
